“Okay, one of us needs to get up and make coffee. I nominate you.” I poke him in the ribs playfully.

“Do you now, love?” Aiden has an amused grin on his face after round three as he brings my hand to his mouth and kisses it before resting it on his sweaty chest.

“Sorry, but you’ve fucked my ability to move right out of me. Besides, yours tastes better.”

“I know something that tastes better,” he says, wiggling his eyebrows. That wicked look of his is back in full force.

“None of that, sir. First sustenance, then hanky-panky.” I smack his naked ass playfully.

Aiden barks out a laugh. “Ah, there’s my great-aunt Gertrude again.”

His teasing doesn’t stop him from getting out of bed to make coffee, so I don’t complain. Soon, the wondrous aroma of liquid gold is pulling me from the tangle of sheets, and I trudge into the kitchen to fill my cup. I see Aiden lounging on the patio with his eyes closed and face tipped toward the sky, soaking in the midmorning sun. After pouring myself a cup, I follow him out and plant myself on his lap, lightly kissing his warm lips.

“I have an appointment with my therapist today, but after that, I’m free as a bird. Care to take a drive later?” The last time I was in the car was when I freaked out and had to have my sister bring me home. I never shared that story with Aiden, so I don’t know if he understands what a big step this is for me.

“That sounds great. Maybe we can drive out in the country and make use of the back seat.” He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively, giving me a hopeful smile.

“And you call me insatiable.” I give him a quick kiss on the mouth and head in to get ready for my call.

“That wasn’t a no,” he yells after me.

Of course it wasn’t. Like I would ever say no to this man.
